In anticipation of Hurricane Sandy, the State Police may order evacuations to ensure safety and order for affected citizens or you may determine it necessary to relocate your program operations because of issues specific to your facility. The Department of Children and Families (DCF) knows that your agency takes evacuation orders seriously and has plans in place in the event your agency needs to re-locate children and/or families residing in your residential programs or individual homes to another location; or if you need to re-locate your child care center operations.
Please access the emergency management system in your area. Information is available at http://www.ready.nj.gov/or by calling 211. However, in the event you need to re-locate children and/or families residing in one of your child-care centers, residential programs or individual homes to another location, please follow the following protocols to report your agency's re-location plan:
Residential/Foster Home/Treatment Home Providers/Child Care Centers/DV Shelters
